Life is not just about you and what you want. Sounds a little harsh I know. I was wondering and maybe it’s just me that the things that happen to us along the way are training us to help someone else. Life is not a singular line about you and you alone. Look back over you life and the things you learned along the way. I can’t help but wonder if the circumstances were not only to teach you but in fact were divinely designed to help another person. Does it feel unfair at times yes, if you learn anything learn to detach from emotions specifically the one that says I’m being punished. Psalm 37:23-24 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way. Though he may stumble, he will not fall, for the Lord upholds him with his hand. The steps refer to the process of following God’s ways. Many times it may feel like your getting the short end of the stick. If you truly believe and have the faith to take these steps then what gets in our way?? I think it’s our perception of how life dealt us the wrong cards. Now we may feel the the cards are wrong or unfair or unjust. This is the place where faith needs to step in. If we had all the details then are we truly tapping into faith or are we secretly asking for details to be sure we are going the right way according to what we deem is right? We don’t need faith for what we see, we need it for what we can’t see or understand. Understand that if you work for God the road gets rocky the water may get dirty and your emotions are gonna tell you, your crazy…..but whatever you do make your steps count. I believe that those steps, one at a time will lead you to your purpose and your destiny. The devine plan has been already been prepared for you, the steps are ensuring that you meet all the prerequisites so that you can handle what God is going to do for you in your life. You didn’t get there alone you know…..let go and let God….not your way but his. The steps have already been designed so no need to re-invent the wheel, just take one step at a time and trust the process. Remembering he upholds you with his hand.
